Nobody 2: Where to Watch, and The Mansell Family's Most Dangerous Vacation Yet
The sequel to the 2021 sleeper hit, Nobody, is officially here. Bob Odenkirk returns as the seemingly mundane suburban dad, Hutch Mansell, in a film that promises to up the ante on brutal action and family drama. If you've been wondering what's next for the man who just wanted to be left alone, this is the movie you've been waiting for.
Where to Watch: Nobody 2 is currently playing in theaters everywhere as of its release date on August 15, 2025. You can check local listings for showtimes and tickets. While it's a theatrical exclusive for now, like the first film, you can expect it to be available on streaming services like Apple TV and Peacock sometime after its theatrical run concludes.
What's The Story So Far?
Four years have passed since Hutch took on the Russian mob and, in the process, blew up his family's quiet suburban life. Despite his best efforts to return to normalcy, he's still working off a massive $30 million debt to the criminal organization. The stress of his double life is taking a toll, and his relationship with his wife, Becca, is strained.
In an attempt to reconnect and get some much-needed R&R, Hutch decides to take the family on a vacation. But this isn't a trip to Disney World—they're headed to Wild Bill's Majestic Midway and Waterpark, a place with a surprising connection to Hutch's own past.
Naturally, Hutch's hope for a peaceful family trip is shattered almost immediately. A minor run-in with some local bullies spirals out of control, pulling the Mansell family into the crosshairs of a corrupt theme-park operator, a shady sheriff, and a new, more unhinged crime boss than anything Hutch has faced before.
The sequel delves deeper into the Mansell family dynamic, exploring not just Hutch's internal struggle but also revealing new details about his wife, Becca, and her own mysterious past. The film’s tagline, "Sometimes the most dangerous place for a dad is a family vacation," perfectly captures the intense blend of domestic life and high-stakes action that defines the franchise.
A Star-Studded Cast, New and Returning
Nobody 2 brings back the beloved cast from the first film and adds some serious star power to the mix:
Bob Odenkirk is back in fighting form as Hutch Mansell, the unlikely action hero.
Connie Nielsen returns as his wife, Becca, with her character's backstory finally getting some much-deserved attention.
Christopher Lloyd reprises his fan-favorite role as Hutch's father, David Mansell, the retired FBI agent who is just as dangerous as his son.
RZA is also back as Hutch's brother, Harry.
The sequel introduces a new roster of formidable antagonists:
Sharon Stone joins the cast as a bloodthirsty new crime boss.
John Ortiz plays a corrupt theme-park operator who becomes a major obstacle for Hutch.
Colin Hanks takes on the role of a shady sheriff, adding another layer of authority and danger.
With a creative team that includes director Timo Tjahjanto and writer Derek Kolstad (the creator of the John Wick universe), you can expect Nobody 2 to deliver even more of the jaw-dropping, bone-crunching action and dark humor that made the original a hit.
